I'd rather read fiction.

Lauren and I watched Stranger than Fiction last night. I had really been looking forward to seeing it because I just LOVE Will Ferrell and Emma Thompson, and Maggie Gyllenhaal as well. I was so disappointed. This movie is somber, dark, depressing, and agonizingly long. Will Ferrell does not even crack a smile throughout the entire film. I do not want to watch Will Ferrell frown for 2 hours. I want him to make me laugh, that is what he does best. If you are one of those people who like gloom and doom, this movie is for you. I will say that the ending was not as bad as we are led to believe it will be. Which hardly makes up for the 2 hours of my life I would like to have back.
